At the beginning of September forty members and an assortment of cars assembled at the Woodland Manor Hotel at Clapham, near Bedford for our annual UK weekend. The comfortable hotel had one extra ingredient we need these days and that was lots of space for our trailers.

The hotel was well placed for the two organised visits , Bletchley Park on the Saturday and the Shuttleworth Collection on the Sunday. Despite this being a very busy area the organisers found some quiet roads to get us to and from the hotel.

Seventeen pre war Renaults were entered while some members supported the event in their classic or modern cars. There were not any mechanical problems, and everyone was able to enjoy the fine weather, the interesting visits and the company of friends, old and new. We look forward to the next one.
